The Project Amjus (Associação do Meio Ambiente, Cultura e Justiça Social), works in São Miguel do Gostoso promoting a more sustainable environment. Its mission is to strengthen spaces and rights for children, adolescents, and young people through environmental, cultural, and social justice activities. The NGO instills these values in local youth through five strategies that encourage entrepreneurship among young people, promote local culture with the help of craftswomen, including intensive environmental protection activities and care for endangered species, like sea turtles.

Laces contributes monthly to the Project and helps protect the environment and endangered species, in addition to protecting the cultural richness of local population based on the inclusion of children, adolescents, and young people through art and music.
